I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Halifax three times thanks to Jamie, and each experience has been exceptionally coordinated. The hospitality was truly outstanding, far beyond what you’d expect from a fifth-tier ground, and the overall setup was incredibly well organised. Even though Wrexham suffered a tough loss late in the national league season, the day was still one to remember. From the quality of the food to the camaraderie among fellow fans, everything was spot on. We even made lasting friendships with several Halifax supporters, which speaks volumes about the atmosphere they’ve helped create.

What a fantastic day we had at Bolton. From start to finish, the trip was incredibly well organised by Jamie. The stadium was impressive, premier league quality, which made it all the more surreal to be facing a club like that in league one. The facilities were outstanding, and the hospitality was top-class. Everything ran smoothly, which made it easy to just relax and enjoy the day. It really felt like a proper step up, and the perfect way to kick off life in league one. I can’t thank Jamie enough for making it such a memorable experience.

Only Jamie could convince us to head to Altincham for an away day and somehow make it a cracking day out. He managed to pull together a great trip, which was well organised and one to remember. The club might have been a bit down on its heels, but the experience was anything but. We were sitting right next to the players’ dressing room, which made it all feel really up-close and personal, probably the most ‘behind-the-scenes’ I’ve ever been at a game. It was rough around the edges, sure, but that’s part of the charm. You can’t compare the hospitality to championship level, but it was all part of the journey to where we are now. My thanks go out to Jamie for making something special out of a ground most would overlook. He knows how to turn any matchday into a proper occasion

Wigan was a brilliant day out, no doubt about it. You’re talking about a former premier league club and FA Cup winners, so the ground was always going to impress, and it absolutely did. The hospitality was spot on. Great good, really friendly staff, and a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day. One of the standout moments was seeing several of the American tables getting a round of applause from the Wigan fans for making the journey. The respect they showed was heartwarming and came as a reminder of what football is all about. The game itself? Rubbish, if I’m honest. But the atmosphere more than made up for it. Jamie pulled together another top-notch day, and it’s always more than just the 90 minutes when he’s involved.

The day Everton came to the racecourse in one I’ll never forget. It was Wayne Rooney’s debut. He came off the bench at just 16, scored twice, and was earning around £70 a week as an apprentice. Absolute madness looking back. Wrexham lost that day (which Jamie probably still hasn’t forgiven me for), but the whole experience was unforgettable. The hospitality was first-class, the atmosphere electric, and there was plenty of friendly back-and-forth between me and Jamie, me being a lifelong Everton supporter, and him flying the flag for Wrexham as always. I’ve worked with Jamie for over 30 years, and he’s been organising football hospitality for as long as I can remember. In fact, he was the first person to buy a box in the new stand at the Racecourse back in 1999. He’s run client trips, match-days and events for years; it’s just what he does, and he does it well. That day was special not just because of the football but because of the history, the banter, and the passion behind it all.

Big shoutout to Jamie for pulling off an absolute belter of a trip to watch Wrexham. From the get-go, it was pure class – we’re talking VIP treatment, match-day box seats, and oh yeah, casually sitting within sight of David Beckham’s box a few rows away like it’s no big deal. Bit surreal, honestly. Wrexham didn’t exactly bring their A-game (lost 1-0, cheers lads), but honestly, who cared? The whole day was top-tier – great company, loads of laughs, and the atmosphere was spot on. Wrapped it all up with a cracking night out in London, which may or may not have included questionable dance moves and kebabs. Jamie smashed it. Every little detail sorted. Footy, friends, and a weekend we won’t forget any time soon. Bring on the next one!
